Our Mission
Every day, millions of digital photos are shared across the web. Most people don't realize that their smartphones silently embed GPS coordinates pointing to their homes, timestamps revealing their routines, and hardware serial numbers tying photos directly to their physical devices.
Existing online metadata scrubbers have a fundamental flaw: they require you to upload your personal photos to their remote servers to clean them. In an era of rampant cloud data leaks, asking users to surrender their private photos to a third-party server to protect their privacy makes no sense.
We built freexifdata.com to prove there is a better way: 100% local, client-side metadata inspection and stripping.
HTML5 Canvas Engine
We use your computer's own browser rendering engine to decode and re-encode pixel buffers in milliseconds without server latency.
Zero-Upload Privacy
Your images, thumbnails, and geolocation data never travel over the network. You can even disconnect your internet after loading the page and the tool still works.
